This early 21^st century is witnessing dramatic economic, environmental and technological changes. In this context the conference will address the following issue: How can Information Systems (IS) contribute to harmonious and balanced development of individuals, organisations and territories through their concepts, methods, practices and tools?

The 16^th AIM Symposium is a discussion forum where professionals, teachers and researchers from various disciplines—Management Science (IS, Marketing, HR, Strategy, etc.), IT, Economics, Sociology, etc.—will exchange their views on IS issues through their theoretical and applied work on the subject, fostering novel perspectives, debates and actions.
